Key Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, budget monitoring, and financial reporting for active construction projects

• Prepare monthly project‑related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

• Analyze project performance, identify variances, and communicate insights to project managers and leadership

• Support project budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with timelines, resources, and financial expectations

• Assist with internal controls, audits, and process improvement initiatives related to project workflows

• Collaborate with operations, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate financial data and timely updates

• Utilize ERP and construction management systems to support project reporting and financial accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction or project‑based accounting strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of GAAP, job cost tracking, and project‑based financial processes

• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP or construction accounting systems

• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with accuracy and professionalism
