Corporate Accountant

Overview

Location: Cincinnati, OH Area

Schedule: 100% Onsite

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 + Bonus Opportunity

A stable and growing publicly traded organization is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This position offers exposure to SEC reporting, financial reporting, month-end close, audit support, and technical accounting, while working with experienced accounting leadership.

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with consolidated financial reporting
• Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external audits
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of accounting policies
• Support equity compensation accounting and other corporate accounting functions
• Assist with tax-related projects and compliance activities
• Help maintain strong internal controls and support SOX compliance initiatives
• Partner with finance and operational teams on reporting, analysis, and special projects

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience working with SEC reporting for publicly traded companies
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with large ERP systems
• Experience with account reconciliation software
