CT Lead

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Must be a subject matter expert in lab through past or current work experiences as a current high functioning technician in that area.
• Operation of 3D X ray and CT scanning systems
• North Star Imaging equipment expertise
• CT data acquisition and review
• Fixturing design using low density materials
• Basic machine maintenance and calibration
• Data management and file organization
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Lead and oversee daily testing operations in the CT Lab.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate testing activities to ensure on time completion of test requests.
• Review incoming test requests, ensure proper prioritization, and monitor progress.
• Obtain high quality digitized data using advanced 3D X ray and CT scanning equipment from North Star Imaging.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand test requirements and recommend appropriate scan techniques.
• Assist with review and interpretation of final scan data.
• Design and execute fixturing of samples using various low density materials.
• Handle biohazardous materials in accordance with safety procedures (as required).
• Support CT data presentations during customer or internal lab tours.
• Assist with daily lab activities including machine maintenance, calibration, and record keeping.
