Location: Blue Ash, Ohio (Hybrid – Office, Field & Remote)

Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Pay Band: $61,100 to 83,000 (commensurate with experience)

At COA, your work as a Business Relations Partner goes beyond procurement—you help ensure older adults receive high-quality, reliable services. By leading provider partnerships and procurement initiatives, you directly impact service quality, accountability, and outcomes.

Job Summary

As a Business Relations Partner, you will prepare routine and complex procurement initiatives and manage strategic relationships with provider partners. You’ll guide RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from concept to implementation while ensuring alignment with COA’s mission and regulatory requirements.

This role combines project leadership, relationship management, compliance oversight, and problem‑solving, helping to ensure providers deliver high-quality services that support independence and well‑being for older adults.

Responsibilities Procurement & Contract Management
  • Lead and manage RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and procurement processes from development through implementation
  • Ensure procurement activities align with agency goals, funding requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams on procurement strategy and execution
  • Maintain expertise in federal, state, and agency procurement regulations
Provider Relations & Communication
  • Manage provider business relationships with assigned provider partners
  • Serve as a key point of contact for provider inquiries, support, and issue resolution
  • Conduct provider orientations, training, and site visits
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely credentialing and contract execution
Provider Performance & Quality
  • Lead provider performance monitoring, including quality reporting and improvement plans
  • Analyze trends, identify service gaps, and recommend strategic improvements
  • Deliver Provider Quality Reports (PQR) and guide providers on performance expectations
  • Investigate and resolve provider‑related complaints, incidents, and escalated concerns
Compliance & Auditing
  • Lead provider precertification reviews
  • Conduct contract audits to ensure compliance with service agreements and regulatory standards
  • Identify risks, non‑compliance issues, and corrective actions
  • Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with funder requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–5 years of experience managing competitive bids (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs)
  • Proven knowledge of federal and state procurement regulations
  • At least 3 years of experience in provider or customer relationship management
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex situations
