Digital Support Representative

Overview

The Digital Support Representative works to maintain General Electric Credit Union’s (GECU) digital services, including online banking and the mobile app, and effectively troubleshoot and resolve member issues.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced support for members with regards to GECU’s digital platforms (i.e., online banking and the mobile app), either directly or indirectly
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of GECU digital platforms, including awareness of service enhancements, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance in order to better assist members
  • Troubleshoot to provide guidance and assist both internal team members and members in areas including, but not limited to:
    Online banking for consumers, Mobile banking for consumers, Mobile deposit, Estatements, Internal and external transfers, Web billpay
  • Conduct daily maintenance activities to maintain online banking and mobile app services
  • Monitor and report trends to management for advanced troubleshooting purposes
  • Perform other duties to support the Digital Delivery Department as necessary
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum three years of experience in an IT help desk, digital banking support, or other related role
  • Prior experience in customer service preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent computer skills to quickly learn and become proficient in multiple systems including Microsoft Office products and Credit Union systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to support members and internal team members with troubleshooting digital services issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good organizational skills needed to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Customer service skills with the ability to ask probing questions to resolve issues
