Adjunct Assistant Professor, Chemistry (UC Blue Ash)

Part‑time faculty must be able to teach one or more of the following chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses:

• First‑year general chemistry for science students
• First‑year general/organic/biochemistry (GOB) for allied‑health students
• First‑year general education chemistry for non‑science students
• Second‑year organic chemistry for science students

Adjunct faculty members will be expected to:

• Use the course management system (Canvas) and any textbook‑specific systems
• Hold regular office hours to meet with students and respond to student communications in a timely manner
• Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year

All classes may be offered day or evening. The position is not eligible for visa or green card sponsorship.

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part‑time basis
• Serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of core responsibilities
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all university‑related communications
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Master's degree (or higher) in Chemistry or a related field of study

• At least one year of teaching experience in a college setting
• Ph.D. in Chemistry
