We invite applicants to be included in the general pool of candidates for our Graphic Design Adjunct faculty positions at UC Blue Ash College. The number of positions varies by departmental need.
Our department is seeking part‑time faculty who can teach courses in design research, production, publication design, and branding identity using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop on a Macintosh platform.
Job Overview- Adjunct faculty are expected to use the university’s course management system (Canvas) and any textbook‑specific systems.
- Hold regular office hours to meet with students and respond to student communications in a timely manner.
- Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
- Be available to teach in‑person classes, which may be scheduled day or evening.
- This position is not eligible for Visa or green card sponsorship.
Essential Functions- On a part‑time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Continually evaluate student coursework using best practices.
- Engage in ancillary activities to support responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all university‑related and student communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
• Master's degree in a related field such as MA, MFA, MDes, OR
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree with three or more years of professional artist/designer experience.
