Job Summary
Senior Collector – Commercial Loan Program
Target CompensationTarget annual salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (based on location, experience, and performance). Additional discretionary bonuses include a 7.5% cash bonus and a 7.5% restricted‑stock‑unit bonus, payable semi‑annually upon meeting performance goals.
Responsibilities- Perform financial and collateral analysis for due diligence and evaluate loan repayment ability within the commercial, asset‑based lending portfolio.
- Review ongoing financial and collateral performance on existing portfolio accounts.
- Recommend and implement appropriate workout strategies to maximize loan‑asset value.
- Approve loan reviews and monitor loans involved in bankruptcies and receiverships.
- Support loss‑mitigation requests and recommend workout options (loan modification, deed in lieu, short sale).
- Ensure compliance with servicing guides and process special‑asset inquiries (taxes, insurance, appraisals, inspections, etc.) and identify potential vendors.
- Maintain process and operations, including developing and implementing policies and procedures on systems and information flow.
- Participate in performance management activities, such as coaching, one‑on‑one reviews, and training needs assessments.
- Prepare documentation for amendments, restructures, client requests, and review reports in accordance with regulations and company policy.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4–6 years of portfolio management experience in commercial lending.
