Job Summary

Job Summary: The Account Manager is the primary contact for the Workers' Compensation client base. The Account Manager is responsible for managing claims and reserve activity, reporting to excess, ensuring medicare reporting compliance, assisting with audits, and communicating with all stakeholders involved in the claim process.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Solid knowledge of Workers' Compensation Claims Management
  • Able to meet deadlines, work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate effective business communication skills
  • Maintaining system notes and diaries
  • Assistance with client retention and enrollment process
Qualifications
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Outgoing personality, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to type 40 WPM
  • Proficient with 10 key
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Organized, attention to detail, flexibility and strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment individually or as a team
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Effectively work with others to build consensus and rapport
  • Valid Driver's License
Education and Experience
  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably 2 years of claims management experience
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
  • Ability to travel
