Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated LPCC, LISW, or IMFT to join our team as an Eating Disorder Specialist. This full-time, in-person position will involve providing evidence-based therapies to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and related mental health issues. We are open to those with a focus in child & adolescent treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating eating disorders, with proficiency in cognitive and behavioral therapies, and a passion for working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
We will consider candidates with a strong background in exposure-based therapies who would like to broaden their scope to eating disorders but have not had the opportunity for in-depth training. We are also seeking therapists who are comfortable working with psychiatric complexity, as eating disorders frequently co-occur with concerns such as self-harm, suicidality, PTSD/trauma, OCD, and mood or anxiety disorders.
Part‑time work for the right person would also be considered.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy for patients with eating disorders and co‑occurring mental health issues.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychiatrists, medical professionals, and nutritionists, to ensure integrated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor and analyze patient progress through data collection and regular reviews.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational programs to raise awareness about eating disorders.
- Provide supervision to Psychology Graduate Students/Postdocs, LPCs, LSWs or LMFTs, if interested.
- Independently licensed in Ohio as a Psychologist, LPCC, LISW or IMFT, or eligible.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, with a focus on eating disorders strongly preferred.
- Expertise in CBT, DBT, ACT, and/or FBT (training in CBT‑E and FBT available).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ethical therapy practices.
$70,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience.
