The Healthcare Data Implementation Engineer role supports all new healthcare client implementations and differs from traditional data engineering positions. This role is highly client-facing and validation-focused, requiring deep healthcare data knowledge and strong communication skills alongside technical expertise. The position partners closely with clients and internal teams to validate, interpret, and operationalize complex healthcare and EMR data within Azure-based platforms.

Essential Job Functions Serve as a subject matter expert during new healthcare client implementations, ensuring accurate interpretation and validation of healthcare data.

Work directly with client stakeholders in a client-facing capacity to troubleshoot issues, answer data questions, and confirm successful implementations.

Validate healthcare datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and readiness for downstream analytics and operational use.

Apply hands-on knowledge of EMR systems.

Translate healthcare and EMR data requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Support Azure-based data integrations and pipelines used in client onboarding and implementation workflows.

Collaborate with internal engineering, analytics, and implementation teams to resolve data issues and improve processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation standards, validation frameworks, and documentation.

Participate in design discussions and reviews related to healthcare data use cases.

Support the adoption of AI and machine learning tools to enhance healthcare data validation and implementation processes.

Desired Work Experience4+ years of relevant work experience

Desired Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Employment Qualifications Required healthcare data experience, including familiarity with healthcare-specific data structures and terminology.

Hands-on experience working with EMR systems, with Meditech strongly preferred.
