Position Summary
The Quality Technician checks materials and products to make sure they meet company and safety standards. This role helps maintain product quality, reduce defects, and support improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect raw materials, parts, and finished products
- Perform basic quality tests (measurements, function, and visual checks)
- Record inspection results accurately
- Identify and separate defective materials or products
- Help find causes of problems and support solutions
- Read and follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Report quality issues to the team
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with GMP, food-grade warehousing, or similar standards
- Problem-solving
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs
- Good hand coordination
- Good vision for detailed inspection
