Equipment Engineer

• 5+ years working in product development or engineering environments focused on equipment and process development
• Proven experience gathering, organizing, and analyzing manufacturing or production data
• Familiarity with systems used to store and visualize production data (any comparable tools or platforms)
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or similar
• Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices, pharma, or related industries)
• Working knowledge of quality and compliance standards, including validation practices and data integrity

An organization in the Cincinnati area is looking for an engineering professional to support development and scale‑up of production equipment. This role centers on managing manufacturing data, supporting pilot runs, and ensuring processes are controlled and optimized. The position sits at the intersection of production operations and data systems, helping drive visibility into process performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Contribute to new product development efforts and transition processes into production while adhering to quality and regulatory expectations
• Coordinate and support pilot builds and early‑stage production activities across cross‑functional teams
• Develop approaches to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, including identifying key variables and quality attributes
• Perform statistical analysis, including experimental design and process capability assessments
• Establish monitoring methods, control strategies, and performance limits using available production data tools
• Conduct measurement system evaluations to ensure reliability and accuracy of collected data
• Provide hands‑on support across development, validation, and production phases
• Create and execute documentation to support validation activities and regulatory readiness
• Assist with troubleshooting and validation of automated manufacturing equipment in partnership with controls and automation teams
