Work Schedule:

Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- 2–3 years of clinical experience in Nursing
- Experience relevant to patient demographics and specific care preferred
Job Overview: This position assists physicians and/or registered nurses in providing clinical care and supervising care delivered by medical assistants. The Clinical Lead collaborates with physicians and other health‑care team members to meet patient and family needs.
Functions include taking vital signs, performing vision, urinalysis, glucose finger‑sticks, and administering health screens such as EKGs, audiometric tests, pulmonary function tests, respirator FIT tests, drug screens, and breath alcohol testing. The Clinical Lead also performs venipuncture and injections under MD supervision, delivers excellent customer service, and engages in documentation of patient responses to care.
The role implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, assists with clinical staff training, participates in quality audits, and collects and interprets data as needed.
Job Responsibilities: The Clinical Lead demonstrates dependability, flexibility, and initiative.
Responsibilities include:
pre‑visit planning, organization of patient flow, assisting with special needs, documentation of vital signs and labs, proper specimen labeling, maintaining competencies, cleaning and maintaining treatment areas, safety compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and JCAHO, handling patient education and care coordination, managing MyChart and patient forms, reconciling injection logs, and administering controlled injections following Coumadin protocol. The Clinical Lead presents a professional image and helps sustain a positive, respectful, and efficient workplace culture.
