Overview
Duration: 6 months Contract to hire
Location: 100% remote - EST hours
Rate: 50-60/hour W2
Conversion Salary: 120-130K
Citizenship: GC and USC only for this role
Job Title: Software Engineer
Responsibilities- Analyze Requirements and design complex systems
- Develop applications adhering to design specifications and requirements
- Unit test code
- Provide application maintenance and support
- Develop and maintain system documentation
- Provide off hours support
- 9 + years of mainframe software development experience
- Must have Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Life Insurance, Annuities and commissions
- Experience with DXC Vantage and/or wmA architecture
- Expertise with:
- COBOL
- JCL
- DB2
- SQL
- CICS
- File Aid
- XPEDITER
- Ability to provide 1 week of after hours production support on a rotating basis every month.
- BS or BA in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Java
- IMS and CICS
- Changeman
- Experience with DXC Performance Plus and Bonus Workbench
