Job Overview

Maintenance Mechanic (Plant Mechanic) – Blue Earth, MN, USA. This role involves maintaining and repairing food‑processing equipment to support production goals.

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace components as required.
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine the layout of assigned work.
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and preventive maintenance completed.
• Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure GMPs, safety rules, and regulations are followed and enforced.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong maintenance skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work with all levels of the organization.

Starting wage range $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on skills, abilities, and experience.
