Compensation
Pay Range: $10.85 – $18.00 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums, which may be paid in amounts that vary per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums can be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed and multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position also assumes shift‑management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer‑service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution of customer‑service programs (Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
- Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process all buy‑online/shipment‑to‑store, hub‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friend lily, issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before the product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image‑Maker and merchandising tasks, ensuring they are completed as assigned.
- Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, obtain approval for any changes or deviations from a member of management, and clock in/out according to company policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying and securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring all night‑security lights are on, locking doors, securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking and securing delivery vehicles parked in the designated area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge
- A.S.E. Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
