• Supervise students during lunch and recess, ensuring they are orderly and safe.
• Encourage and reinforce positive behavior in the lunchroom and at recess.
• Ensure that expectations are met and students interact positively with one another.

• Ability to relate to children in a positive, but firm manner.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with children and adults.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Ability to form and maintain positive relationships with children.
• Able to remain calm and clear-headed when working with challenging behaviors.
• Knowledge and understanding of developmental stages of children.
• Ability to effectively monitor elementary students and supervise playground and recreational activities.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with staff and students in English; bilingual (Spanish) speaking candidates are desirable.

Working Conditions: 10-15 hours during the school week as assigned.

Salary: $14.05/hour
