Job Description

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional timelines.
• Deliver engaging, standards‑aligned instruction adapted for student needs and learning styles.
• Provide instructional support in co‑taught, resource, push‑in, or self‑contained environments.
• Assess student learning and modify instruction based on data and observations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers on best practices.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, staff, and administrators regarding progress.
• Utilize Google Classroom and other digital platforms to support instruction.
• Assist in facilitating IEP meetings in collaboration with the Special Education Coordinator.

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS I endorsement.
• Knowledge of Google Classroom and digital instructional tools.
• Strong understanding of Common Core standards and research‑based instructional practices.
• Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and child‑centered instructional decision‑making.
• Skill in differentiating instruction for diverse learners and learning styles.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
