Lab/Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities- Must perform job activities in compliance with site HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform raw material, intermediate and finished product analysis on the sites materials through the use of approved methods and entering results in WebLIMS.
- Certifies products for shipment through SAP.
- Performs routine cleaning/adjustment of laboratory equipment and replenishes chemical reagents to ensure uninterrupted operation and quality results.
- Coordinates the operation of the retain sample cabinets by assigning retain codes for the sites raw materials and finished goods and disposing of aged samples.
- Routine participation in the daily production Manufacturing Excellence whiteboard meetings.
- Upholds quality standards to conform to ISO 9001 and EFfCI policies and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry preferred, but other related sciences will be considered based on work history, or a minimum of 10 years working in a quality control laboratory/environment.
- Understanding of classical wet chemistry methods and standard QA instrumentation (GC/LC).
- Understanding with WebLIMS (or comparable laboratory software) and SAP.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) with operations and management.
- Must be able to simultaneously organize and prioritize numerous tasks in a fast paced environment.
- This position requires the person to be independent, organized and self-motivated.

- The U.S. hourly salary range for this position is $36.00-$39.00 per hour. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
