Customer Service Associate I at Family Dollar

Location:

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store (including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness)
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
