* * Salary:** $18.00/hour

* Job Duties:

*** Responsible for supervising and coaching all camp counselors, providing visibility and access to staff throughout the day.
* Responsible for correcting camper conflict when unit counselors are unable to, following camp policies and procedures.
* Responsible for assisting with staff training and staff scheduling.
* Communicate issues relating to staff to Camp Director.
* Assist in coordination of daily programming, curriculum writing, first aid materials, medications.
* Serve as point-person on field trips.
* Set the example for counselors in professionalism, enthusiasm, and engagement with campers and approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Strong leadership and organization skills.
* Knowledge of youth development and previous experience working in a camp setting.
* Must attend training week plus work all 10 weeks that camp is open for the summer (40 hours a week).
* First aid/adult and child CPR certification is required prior to start of camp.
* Lifeguard certification desired.
* Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
