School Speech Language Pathologist - Blue Springs, Missouri

Providing essential speech-language support in a K-12 educational setting, this full-time contract opportunity spans the academic year from mid-August through the end of May, with an optional summer school session in June. The position is based in Blue Springs, MO, serving a diverse student population requiring speech and language interventions.

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to approximately 40 students experiencing speech and language delays.
• Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed to support student communication.
• Participate actively in Response to Intervention (RtI) processes.
• Conduct speech and language testing and contribute to evaluation reports.
• Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educators and staff to enhance student learning outcomes.

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with School-Based SLP and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials preferred.
• Experience working within a K-12 school setting.
• Knowledge of AAC devices and RtI procedures is advantageous.
• Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and IEP development.
• Ability to manage and maintain a caseload effectively within a structured school schedule.

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:20 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
• Located in Blue Springs, Missouri.
