We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Executive Leadership Team and help drive the continued growth, profitability, and long‑term success for a dynamic professional services organization.
This is a highly visible leadership role for an accomplished finance executive who thrives as a trusted business advisor, enjoys influencing organizational strategy, and can translate financial insights into actionable business decisions. The CFO will partner closely with executive leadership to guide financial planning, optimize performance, manage risk, and support future growth initiatives, including potential mergers and acquisitions.
What You’ll DoAs CFO, you will serve as the senior financial leader for the organization, overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support organizational objectives and sustainable growth.
- Provide financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, cash flow planning, and long‑range financial modeling.
- Deliver meaningful financial reporting and performance analysis to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, payroll, and cash management.
- Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance practices.
- Monitor financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure while capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Oversee banking and treasury relationships and ensure effective cash management practices.
- Support leadership in evaluating business opportunities, investments, and potential acquisition activity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through technology, analytics, and process optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
- Serve as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to broader organizational strategy and management.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative executive leader who combines strong financial expertise with exceptional business acumen and communication skills.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
- Prior CFO or senior financial leadership experience preferred.
- Proven success leading and developing large finance and accounting teams.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic planning.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, boards, and operational leaders with financial decision‑making.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
- Experience with ERP and financial software platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, or similar solutions.
- Experience with business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, and data analytics is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence organizational strategy and lead through change.
