Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Early Morning Care Assistant Needed – Private In-Home Care (N. Lee’s Summit/S. Blue Springs Area). Apply once and be considered for all of QCKC's positions. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Lee’s Summit. This is private in-home care for a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury (non-senior).

Preferred Schedule: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Additional hours may be available for the right fit.

She is a kind and pleasant individual who values dignity, organization, and consistency. She requires assistance with:

• Restroom needs
• Showering and personal care (good organization and attention to detail are important)
• Light housekeeping
• Transfers (some lifting required, but not heavy)

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely
• Strong bedside manner and respectful communication
• Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers
• Show up on TIME!
• Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients

• Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must hold a valid Driver's License
• Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers
