Unit Secretary

Prime Healthcare -  - Responsibilities:
Provide indirect patient care by assisting with departmental organization, communication needs, and coordination between staff, physicians, and patients;
Enter and transcribe physician orders (in the absence of CPOE) with proper nursing notation and signature;
Prepare, compile, and maintain patient records, charts, logbook entries, and documentation for the Perinatal Unit;
Order supplies and forms for the unit, and assist nursing staff with restocking patient rooms after transfers or discharges;
Accurately enter data into hospital computer systems and the QS Electronic Medical Record system while supporting nursing staff with indirect care tasks
