X- Ray Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Nights) - Barnes

Overview

BJC Health Care System is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower (main level). This role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Upcoming grads, new grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists are welcome to apply.

Position details: four days per week (36 hours) with an overnight shift Monday – Thursday (7:30pm – 5am). In-house patient care and operating room (OR) exposure, with portable exams and other tasks as assigned by the department. Work includes independent radiographic imaging examinations and potential time in the ER; equipment includes Siemens in our ED and a mix of Samsung and Carestream portables.

• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently.
• Occasional time in the Operating Room (OR).
• Portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department.
• Work independently in the emergency room (ER).

• Education:
  
  Associate degree or higher.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  ARRT registered technologist (R.T.(R));
  Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.).
• Experience:
  
  No experience required; suitable for new grads, upcoming grads, student radiology techs and experienced radiologic technologists.
• Other: CPR and Intravenous Therapy certifications may be included as preferred requirements.

• Experience:
  
  Less than 2 years preferred.
