The position of Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to the educational process by integrating technology to enhance the learning environment, installing and maintaining computer hardware and software, providing technical support to site administrators, staff and students, and resolving school site operational issues.

The starting salary ranges from $48,097 to $76,158.49, commensurate with experience. This is a full‑time (260 day, 7.5 hr. per day) position eligible for benefits.

• Assists site staff with audio/visual setup and teardown for presentations.
• Assists users via remote connection for troubleshooting workstation issues.
• Attends school site and departmental meetings.
• Installs computer hardware, peripherals, and application software.
• Maintains manual and electronic documents, files, and records.
• Performs basic network troubleshooting.
• Prepares status reports, user guides, and related materials.
• Maintains computers, peripherals, and electronic equipment.
• Responds to a variety of questions from site staff, parents, and students.
• Supports classroom activities for technology‑related classes.
• Trains school site staff on software applications and hardware operations.
• Utilizes a work ticketing system for work orders.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Job‑related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

The work involves occasional lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and fine finger dexterity. The environment is generally clean and healthy with moderate to loud noise levels.
