A growing, vertically integrated Missouri-based cannabis operator is seeking an experienced Post-Harvest Manager to lead post-harvest processing and help drive quality, consistency, and operational efficiency across the organization. (Relocation assistance available)
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands how to successfully manage cannabis flower from harvest through finished bulk product. The Manager will oversee day-to-day post-harvest operations, lead and develop the team, establish strong processes, and work cross-functionally to ensure production stays on schedule while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day post-harvest operations, including drying, curing, trimming, processing, sorting, and storage
- Manage, develop, and hold accountable a team of post-harvest employees
- Build and maintain SOPs and operational standards focused on quality, consistency, compliance, and efficiency
- Manage production schedules and workflow to ensure product is ready for downstream departments on time
- Monitor product quality throughout the post-harvest process and proactively address potential issues
- Track key operational metrics including throughput, yield, productivity, and quality
- Maintain accurate inventory, production, and compliance records
- Partner closely with Cultivation, Manufacturing, Packaging, and other operational teams
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, increase productivity, reduce waste, and protect product quality
- Help create a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of cannabis post-harvest leadership or management experience within a licensed operation
- Strong technical understanding of commercial-scale drying, curing, trimming, and flower processing
- Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Strong understanding of cannabis compliance and seed-to-sale inventory tracking
- Ability to balance product quality with production timelines and operational efficiency
- Strong organizational, communication, and people leadership skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking ownership of a critical stage of the production process
