Registered Nurse; RN - Nights

Responsibilities

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital is actively hiring a patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing behavioral health team. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment. The hospital is located in Independence, MO.

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Help develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response and side effects.
• Monitor patient safety and documentation.
• Educate families.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Missouri.
• Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work three 12‑hour shifts per week in the evening (7:00pm-7:30am).
