Support the design, execution, and delivery of RWE/Epidemiology studies
Apply epidemiologic methods and scientific principles to assigned studies
Contribute to study concepts, protocols, analysis plans, reports, and publications
Conduct literature reviews and evidence assessments
Support real-world data assessments and landscape evaluations, including evaluation of new datasets and networks in Europe
Respond to epidemiologic information requests, including safety-related and ad hoc analyses
Ensure accuracy, quality, and scientific integrity of assigned work
Support study feasibility assessments and operational planning
Collaborate with Medical Evidence Development Evidence Generation Operations teams and external vendors
Contribute to inspection and audit readiness activities
Perform code list review, data quality control, and validation activities
Support study management and other tasks needed for successful study delivery
Report to the sponsor's RWE/Epidemiology Lead within the Integrated Evidence Generation organization
Collaborate with MED, CMO, clinicians, HV&E/GAV, and other cross-functional partners
Requirements- PhD in Epidemiology
- 2 or more years of full time, professional experience within a pharma company or pharma consulting organization, not including postdoctoral fellowship
- Experience supporting RWE/Epidemiology studies in academia, industry, or a contract research organization
- Knowledge of one or more therapeutic areas, including migraine, obesity, anti-infectives, inflammation, immunology, rare disease, or CV/metabolic disease
- Experience contributing to study protocols, research reports, analyses, and/or publications
- Experience working within cross-functional or matrixed teams
- Strong understanding of epidemiologic methods and observational research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate successfully within cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with analysts and programmers to support execution of analysis plans
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality scientific work
Demonstrates expertise in Epidemiology with a strong focus on Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies, including the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiologic research. Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the scientific integrity of research outputs.
