Midwest Fenestration Services is expanding, and we are searching for a motivated, technically minded, customer-focused professional to help grow our newest location. This position blends hands-on field expertise with sales, project development, and relationship management. It is ideal for someone who knows windows/doors and is ready to build strong customer relationships while growing into a high-earning solutions leader.

What You will Do
Field + Technical (approx. 50% to start, decreasing over time)
- Diagnose window and door issues and recommend repair/replacement solutions
- Perform pre-install measurements and evaluate jobsite conditions
- Conduct walkthroughs with homeowners, builders, and contractors
- Support installation teams with pre-install verification and technical insight, ensuring accurate handoff and scope alignment
- Document conditions and participate in post-install reviews to confirm scope accuracy and customer satisfaction
As the location grows, field work transitions to:
- Advanced measurements
- Diagnostics
- Project oversight rather than hands-on labor
Sales & Customer Solutions (B2C + B2B) Homeowners (B2C)
- Meet customers, understand needs, and recommend solutions
- Provide quotes, scopes of work, and product options
- Sell repair services, replacement glass, hardware, and turnkey installation packages
- Guide homeowners through remodel or replacement projects
Builders & Trade Partners (B2B)
- Build strong relationships with builders, remodelers, dealers, and property managers
- Promote installation expertise, service capabilities, and technical problem-solving
- Provide onsite diagnostics, project scopes, and value-added support
- Grow referral networks through consistent communication and reliability
General Sales Tasks
- Maintain CRM activity, follow-ups, and job notes
- Deliver revenue growth, close rate, and gross margin performance
- Represent the company at shows and networking events
- Present and sell service/maintenance agreements
What You Bring
- 3+ years in windows/doors, installation, service, or building materials
- Sales experience in B2C or B2B building materials preferred
- Strong understanding of construction and installation practices
- Ability to diagnose issues and communicate solutions clearly
- Comfortable in both field and customer settings
- Strong project coordination and multitasking skills
- Valid driver’s license
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Andersen, Pella, Marvin, Pro Via, etc.
- CRM experience
- Familiarity with manufacturer sizing/configuration tools
- Existing relationships with builders or trade professionals
