This role drives equipment sales growth through an overlay function, enhancing customer engagement within the product category. The Equipment Advisor provides expert guidance on Distribution Management’s printer offerings, making hardware recommendations to both internal sales teams and external customers. The position involves inbound and outbound customer interactions and plays a key role within the overall sales organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct inbound and outbound sales with customers, offering product recommendations to internal teams and external clients.
Serve as the lead product knowledge expert and primary contact for the manufacturer field team, supporting new product rollouts.
Identify opportunities through data analysis, vendor programs, and competitive research, collaborating with MPS Advisors on hardware opportunities.
Educate customers and internal teams on product categories, specials, and manufacturing programs.
Support operational improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of direct selling experience preferred.
Experience in the business product industry is advantageous.
Strong sales acumen including negotiation, persuasion, and consultative selling skills.
Experience handling a high volume of outbound calls.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated experience in long-term problem resolution.
Intense time management and multitasking ability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.
Experience prospecting and onboarding new accounts
