Job Description
Great opportunity to join an established specialty contractor, in business for over 40 years, and expanding into the Missouri subsidiary.
They are currently looking to fill Laborer positions for their underground projects in the Kansas City area.
They will be working on utility lines, water lines, and additional lines underground. They will be responsible for using a variety of equipment to fill the holes with dirt and concrete, as well as a variety of hand tools.
The company's core services include:
- Cathodic Protection
- Hydro Vac Excavation
- Valve Retrofit Services
Laborer
This position involves assisting with excavation, material handling, and general field work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
- Experience with cathodic protection systems or underground utility construction is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk uneven terrain and active construction sites.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to safely access trenches and excavation areas while following all safety regulations.
