Fire Safety Shop and Field Technician

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Fire Extinguisher Service & Inspection Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers a combination of shop and field work, servicing fire extinguishers in our shop and performing inspections and service at customer locations.

• Service, recharge, repair, and maintain fire extinguishers in the shop.
• Perform routine fire extinguisher inspections at customer locations.
• Identify deficiencies and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Complete inspection tags, reports, and required documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow applicable safety requirements, codes, standards, and company procedures.

• No previous fire extinguisher experience required—we provide training.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Field Service Management software experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers and equipment.
• Ascend and descend a ladder or stairs.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical ability test.
