Operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) at Amazon involves more than moving pallets. I work in a high‑reach environment where machinery operates up to 40 feet into the air, requiring precision, safety awareness, and a commitment to continuous training and certification.

• Vertical replenishment: operate wire‑guided Turret Trucks and Stand‑Up Reach Trucks to pull large pallets from high‑reserve storage and lower them to active bins for ground‑level pickers.
• Order picking at altitude: use an Order Picker (Cherry Picker) and a full‑body safety harness to hand‑pick large, non‑sortable items from elevated locations.
• Rigorous safety auditing: perform a thorough 20‑point mechanical inspection of the machine each shift, logging battery levels, hydraulic fluid status, and harness integrity documentation.
