Commissioning & Installation Engineer

The Commissioning & Installation Engineer will be responsible for performing commissioning on board for hatch covers and lashing bridges. And to support fabrication, design, contract management and logistics operation.

• Plan and carry out commissioning work, handle guarantee under guarantee period
• Give input to claim handling tool to handle claims towards subcontractor
• Provide commissioning report,delivery document signed by shipyard, and feedback about design faults and proposal for improvements to CM
• Highlight problems make recommendation to stop recurrence
• Support sales activities and quality control for hatch covers
• Benchmarking of our competitor product

Reporting directly to the Commissioning Team Leader. The position will travel to the shipyard in China as project needed.

We are looking for a person with basic knowledge of electrical and hull structures. As a person you are cooperative, customer oriented and have technical skills.

Ideally you have

• At least 3 years of experience
• Technical product knowledge
• Good knowledge of processes, organization and products within different product lines
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
