Part-Time Panel Shop Technician

We have an immediate opening for a SCADA/Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Candidates must have 2+ years hands-on work experience in Control systems.

• Must be experienced in SCADA systems design, implementation, programming, troubleshooting, installation, etc.
• Experience with SCADA systems for Water, Wastewater, Power, Petroleum, Mining or similar industries is a plus.
• Must have programming experience with Modicon, Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc or similar PLC; and Wonderware, iFix, Citect or similar HMI.
• Must be able to read project drawings, electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Must have experience working with estimates, submittals and proposals.
• Electrical background is preferred.
• Experience with VB and AutoCAD drafting is a plus.

ICTech, Inc. is seeking a Panel Shop Technician. Qualified candidates will be assembling and wiring industrial control panels from blueprints and schematics.

• Assemble control panels from layout to completion
• Wire devices according to blueprints
• Maintain organized and clean workspace
• Assist in installation and start-ups on clients’ job sites
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Support management by assisting in other areas as requested.

• Seeking candidates with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Able to work from blueprints and schematics
• Able to perform point-to-point wiring of control panels
• Must be self‑motivated and detail-oriented
• AutoCAD drafting skills are a plus
• Must have minimum two years of control panel fabrication or similar experience

• Must possess a valid UT Driver’s License and pass a background security check.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50.
