Overview
This exciting career opportunity is for a DEAN|FLUOR Part-Time Custodial Technician to join one of the region’s fastest-growing companies.
This position is considered sensitive and may require extensive background screening processes to meet current or future network and/or government contract needs. The Full-Time Custodial Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing all labor necessary to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash disposal, bathroom cleaning, light fixtures, waxing, removing old wax, mopping, and applying anti-static substances to carpets.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma with two or more years of custodial work experience.
- Ability to achieve and maintain security clearance.
- Extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, and lifting.
- Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Abilities:
- Lifting at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
- Relocating a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Working at various heights up to 60 feet, climbing, and maintaining balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
- Routine walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and overhead reaching.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary), color perception, hearing, and communication in English.
- Using standard ladders while carrying tools within weight limits.
- Recognizing problems or potential issues.
- Applying general rules to specific problems to produce logical answers.
- Integrating pieces of information to form conclusions, including recognizing relationships among seemingly unrelated events.
- Seeing details at close range.
- Listening to and understanding spoken information and ideas.
