Job Summary
This position provides highly responsible and complex assistance to the Fire Chief. This role promotes public safety by ensuring department readiness and preparedness through the management of facilities, fleet and logistics. Performs administrative, operational, and supervisory duties coordinating and overseeing all fire and medical related activities in the City. May be assigned administrative duties including purchasing, budget, training, equipment, etc.
Minimum QualificationsThis position requires an Associate’s degree in Fire Science, Management, or a related field; and twelve (12) years of progressive firefighting experience with increasing responsibilities, including at least two years of Battalion Chief experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $94,279 - $137,653 +/- based on experience.
