Occasionally Required Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 Packaging Lab Analyst Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated person to fill the role of Laboratory Technician I. This cross-functional role supports packaging testing activities, contributing to product release, environmental monitoring, and packaging validation studies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a regulated lab environment and be passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct tests in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and current industry standards.
• Prepare reagents and cultures while maintaining aseptic techniques and a clean lab environment.
• Accurately document test results and observations following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Support the execution and documentation of test protocols and final reports.
• Identify and report testing issues or deviations; assist in investigations as needed.
• Participate in equipment use, maintenance, and calibration.
• Contribute to updates of procedures and work instructions; support process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in a math or science related field (e.g., Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Packaging Science).
• Foundational knowledge of microbiological and packaging testing in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with GDP, GLP, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Adobe tools.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
