The RoleWe’re looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts in Utah/Salt Lake/Davis counties. In this role, you’ll work closely with property managers, HOAs, commercial real estate teams, and facilities leaders to deliver exceptional service while identifying opportunities to grow each account. This is a relationship-driven role with strong upside tied to account expansion and enhancement sales.
This is a full-time, on-site/field role based out of Bluffdale, UT.
What You’ll Do- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients
- Ensure high client satisfaction and maintain 95%+ retention across your book of business
- Identify and close enhancement opportunities (irrigation, plant health, seasonal color, upgrades, etc.)
- Conduct regular site walks to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement or upsell
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure work is completed on time and at a high standard
- Manage account budgets, track performance, and maintain profitability
- Support business development through referrals and expansion within existing relationships
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
- 3–7+ years of experience in account management, outside sales, or client-facing roles
- Experience working with commercial properties, HOAs, or facilities teams preferred
- Background in landscaping, facilities services, construction services, or related industries is a plus
- Prefer Bachelors degree in Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
- Strong relationship builder with a consultative approach
- Proven ability to grow accounts and identify revenue opportunities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Financially minded with the ability to understand budgets, pricing, and profitability
