Light Installer

I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented installer to join our team installing permanent exterior RGBW lighting on homes throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

• $3.50 per installed foot in time, plus bonuses
• Most jobs range from 100–250+ feet
• Paid upon completed installation
• Consistent work available for the right person

• Installing permanent exterior lighting systems on residential homes
• Measuring, cutting, and mounting aluminum tracks under soffits and eaves
• Running and securing low-voltage wiring
• Making electrical connections and testing lighting systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues when needed
• Maintaining a clean and professional job site
• Communicating professionally with homeowners and team members
• Following safety procedures while working on ladders and roofs
• Ensuring installations meet North Star Lighting quality standards

• Experience with exterior lighting, low‑voltage work, roofing, siding, gutters, construction, or handyman work preferred
• Comfortable working on ladders and roofs
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and dependability

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up when they say they will, communicates well, and can create clean, professional installations. Quality is more important than speed.

This is part-time, but can be full-time for the right person.
