Job Description

For healthcare personnel to detect, diagnose, and treat patients properly, they need functioning equipment. That’s where you come in. As a Medical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will help ensure Soldiers receive high-quality health care by servicing and maintaining all medical equipment.

The equipment will include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological systems. Duties include performing preventive maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctioning or defective medical equipment, determining power and space requirements for installations, installing equipment, and preparing and submitting equipment reports.

• Service and maintain medical equipment

• Equipment repair exercises

• Experience working with electronic equipment
• Interest in mathematics and solving problems
• Strong attention to detail

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high‑school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
