REQUIREMENTS:

** RN IN licensure

** BLS, ACLS

** PALS preferred

** 3 years’ experience preferred

IV starts nursing assessments, telemetry, etc.

ICU drips

EMR:
Cerner preferred

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Medical Surgical RN Nights - Acute Care with Telemetry, progressive care, and swing

FACILITY SIZE: 40 licensed beds with 10 swing beds included in license

NUMBER OF BEDS IN UNIT: 20

MONTHLY DEPARTMENT VOLUME: average daily census of 10

PATIENT RATIO: 1 to 6 for acute, 1 to 10 for swing
