CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Level II positions available in the Bluffton, Indiana area working at our client location who is an established manufacturer.

These are direct hire opportunities with a pay range of $24-$26 per hour dependent upon experience. 2nd shift receives a $1.50 shift bonus in addition to hourly rate.

1st shift flexible start time between 5:30am and 7:00 am to 3-4:00pm
2nd shift start time 3:45pm to anywhere from 12:30 to 1:30 am depending on workload.

In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, contribute innovative ideas, and lead by example. You'll report to the Plant Supervisor and collaborate closely with the Quality team to produce precision parts from castings and bar stock. A continuous improvement mindset is a must.

Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist Level II:
-Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
-Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
-Calculate speeds/feeds select tools, and plan machining processes
-Troubleshoot setups and optimize machining efficiency
-Work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Qualifications for CNC machinist Level II:
-5+ years of CNC machining and programming (milling & turning)
-Strong metal machining experience
-Proficiency in work-holding, quality inspection, and modern manufacturing technology
-Skilled in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Edge, Solid Works, Fusion 360)
