Quality Control / Manager, Quality Technician/ Inspector
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the hourly Quality Control Personnel and providing feedback to operations regarding compliance levels for products. Excellent attendance record is a requirement.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to perform following tests:
- Finishing moisture
- Color
- pH
- Breakage
- Length bag and label checks
- Bag weight checks
- Metal detection checks and action on deviations
- CQP checks and action on deviations
- CCP and CQP verifications of QC and Extruder Operators performing the checks
- Monitor records are completed correctly and information entered into Safety Chain
- Non‑Conformance Program: placing finished goods on hold in SAP, performing inspection processing and processing to DMR
- Rework/WIP process: follow up with operations regarding reworking of holds or WIP and ensuring documentation per actions taken
- Initiate CARs and collect/document information for quality deviations in SAP
- Foreign Object Reports and collect foreign material and information
- Enter test results into computer as required
- Verification of calibrations being performed
- Pre‑Operational Inspections between allergen changeovers and after shutdown
- Post Cleaning ATP, Allersnap, Aller Flow swabbing of lines as applicable
- Complete pre‑Operational and swabbing worksheets to document actions and corrective actions if needed
- Communicate with Production Supervisors regarding product compliance, alerting when product is not running to specification or adjustments are needed, and advise if product should be discarded
- Communicate between Production and Quality Control Operators during changeovers
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Sample preparation and sample analysis per test protocols
- HACCP and PCQI experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and interpret data and graphs
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and SQF Code
- Excellent organizational skills

Night Shift (7PM‑7AM on 2‑2‑3 work schedule)
