12 hours shift: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am
Working 3-4 days/week. This is a 2‑2‑3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation)

Job SummaryResponsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, manually packing, and stacking finished products, and completing sanitation activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain the 5’s and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Visually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxes
- Recognize and report product quality issues
- Set up scales for bag, bulk, and/or tote weights
- Weigh one bag per case
- Understand the information on the lead label
- Pallet stack as needed
- Pour on rework
- Fill out all paperwork completely, accurately, and timely (including first case verifications, daily 5S paperwork, changeover/sanitation paperwork, etc.)
- Cover bulk lines and recognize and report bad product
- Clean and organize the packing area using approved chemicals and PPE as applicable
- Perform shut down, start up, and changeover procedures
- Rework product as needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- 1‑month experience or training in related field
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees
- Basic math skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and or move up to 35 pounds
