Job Title

This is an hourly position, primarily 6am to 2pm, M-F. Depending on business demands, there may be a need to work an alternative shift or an occasional weekend. Rate of pay is currently $15/hour.

ADM Animal Nutrition is a livestock feed manufacturer, located in Bluffton, IN. We manufacture feed for most species, with an emphasis on swine, poultry, equine, and bovine.

• Housekeeping duties and cleaning of equipment and buildings
• Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed
• Assist with product handling as instructed
• Possible movement and operation of forklift, skid-steer and semi tractors
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures
• Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum
• Possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
• Have experience driving a forklift (preferred but not required)
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting

Please note that this is an entry level position, and for the right candidate, it could easily lead to a full-time, permanent position, but it is not guaranteed.

Candidate will provide their own steel-toed safety boots. All other PPE will be provided by the plant.

All candidates will interview in person at 1800 W Western Ave, Bluffton, IN. Interviews are conducted by appointment only, usually at 10am or 1pm, Monday through Friday, as schedules allow. Upon arrival, candidates should enter the back door of the office building to their immediate right when pulling into the drive.
