Position Summary

Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Support staffing plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identify goals, and promote accountability and continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions while fostering a culture of belonging.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support staffing plans and initiatives.
• Identify goals, communicate objectives, and measure progress toward results.
• Identify improvement opportunities and promote adaptability and continuous learning.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards; support the Open Door Policy in applying these in business processes.
• Contribute to building high-performing teams, inclusive culture, and a positive work environment where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
• Promote integrity, customer focus, and teamwork aligned with Walmart values; participate in initiatives that support responsible business practices and community impact.
• Deliver results for customers while considering how, where, and when customers shop and applying relevant business models to plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the adoption of new technologies and skills; assist others through change.

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

For facilities selling firearms: successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements: a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U and Bellevue University); experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
